This morning: 174. If I get back on the Nordic Track, I might actually start losing weight again. Also, we had another really good dinner, which was indian food made at home. It was sleazy-easy indian food, as the sauce came from a can, but it worked out well. Add onion and chicken breast plus leftover rice from the black beans and *bingo* starchfest-o-rama!I also read a not-George-R.-R.-Martin book last night: No Way to Treat a First Lady by Christopher Buckley. People, if you have not read Christopher Buckley, start. He's really funny. This one is about a trial of the First Lady after she kills her philandering husband with a thrown spittoon after he bangs a starlet in the Lincoln Bedroom. It is a riot. Sorry that I cannot lend it to you, as it has to go back to the library. I do, however, have Little Green Men and Thank You for Smoking, both of which are also solid efforts by Mr. Buckley (Bill Buckley's son, by the way). |
